Refreshing Drinks for Summer

Now the summer is here, it's time to have a little fun in the sun! whether you enjoy sun bathing at the  beach, hosting backyard BBQ or chilling by the pool.
Refreshing sips in summers will quench your thirst and please your palate.

Mango Punch

I use to make this drink and believe me this is perfect for summers. Mango is one of those amazing fruits that are both delicious and full of health benefits. Far from being overly sweet the flesh has plenty of fiber to balance the sugar, which can give you sustain energy all day without blood sugar crashes after you eat it.

Lassi

Lassi is that one chilled and refreshing drink which is loved by many people across India. Apart from being immensely delicious it is the most traditional, healthy and natural remedy for stomach bloating. It is light on the stomach and contains lactobacilli so it helps in  preventing constipation and other stomach problems. From salty to sweet, there are many variations of lassi and it tastes best when garnished with dry fruits and rose petals.



Lemonade

The benefits of drinking lemon water are seemingly endless. First of all it promotes hydration and a good source of vitamin C so it improves your skin quality. It is well known as a useful treatment for kidney stones, reducing strokes, and lowering body temperature. As a refreshing drink, lemonade helps you to stay clam and cool.


Bel Sharbat

Bel Juice is the most common way to stay fit and healthy in summers. It is useful in curing of constipation because of its laxative properties. Bel Juice gives great comfort in heart burn, acidity, hyper acidity and indigestion . It help destroy worms in the intestine and also recommended as a remedy for chronic dysentery.

Sattu

Have you ever heard the name of this one!. Sattu is roasted gram flour which has many health benefits. It is high on insoluble fiber, which make it good for your intestine. Sattu is rich in protein, fiber, calcium, iron, manganese and magnesium. It also contributes generously to the growth the muscle mass, and its advised that children are given about two tea-spoon of Sattu everyday.
